The Ville (Not Victor's)

Went out into the little alley way we are allowed to walk around in and saw some funny shit. They sell chicken on a stick, when you are done you need to break the stick or they will re-use it. I bought a korean bottled pepsi and opened it up to find that the bottle was used before, probably multiple times. Almost every old korean lady or man that has a store is called either Mom or Pop. I know that isnt their real name...liars. Also there is a DVD "store" where you can buy 5 for $10 10 for $20 and so on. Its less of a DVD store and more like the trap. For real, you pick the Bootlegged movies you want (alot of which are still in theaters) then you hand that list to a russian lady and she runs off and gets the merch. I felt like I was buying drugs. All the people were really friendly and they even had a Stinky Foot Store. It was more or less the Tijuana of Korea i think. Amazing...to put it simply. Here are the pix, soak it in buddy.

All Along the Eastern Front

So far Korea is very interesting. I wont get to my unit until next week but I got my orders and I am assigned to the 2nd Infantry Division Artillery Brigade. I get to go out into the "small" town outside base tomorrow and see some sights so I'll update after that with some pictures. For now here are some random peektures...Peep It!

From the Korean Front

Yo yo yo. So i made it here, and i am more than pleasantly surprised at the beauty of this country. Im in the south of the country at the moment and I dont have any pictures yet (deal with it!) cause I havent bought the camera i want yet...buuuut i have made some funny observations so far.

First, the scenery is incredible. Islands with mountains and green as far as you can see. Waterways running through major cities and everywhere bridges to cross said water. In the middle of the islands and mountainous regions lay sprawling urban megaplexes. No normal houses for Koreans, just huge sky scraping apartment towers.

Second, nearly ever car on the road is either White, Black, or Silver. I dont know if there is a shortage of car colors or if it just the culture, but it is pretty funny.

Third, upon landing at Incheon International i started to notice an amazing trend. I saw a shortage of Korean men. I also saw an over abundance of hot little asian mommies. This is by far my favorite observation as of yet.

Now I hear tell that the base I will be stationed at is outside of a dirty little city, but im hoping the girl trend still applies. Also, I got a haircut and a massage for 19 dollars US. Unfortunately that didnt come with a happy surprise, but I cant count it as a loss. Oh and One Dollar = 1000 Wons. Hah

Thrilla In Sevilla

Took a trip out to Reevercide to visit Club Sevilla for Active's tuesday night jump off. It started out a little slow with a small amount of people there, but eventually it blew up and shit went nuts. Bumpin and grindin and funking and jiving all night. I danced my ass off and had a blast. Definately a good night...as you can tell, Cheyne ended up on the ground, just giggling bro. haha!

Fenix Airyzona

Went out to Phoenix to visit my BFF B.A.G. Had a wonderful time being introduced to the Arizona party life. It's no where near as advanced as LA or even SD, but it was fun none the less.
